I want to spray paint my valve cover, is it safe enough to un-bolt and remove it? or will i find it difficult to put back on, anythng i need to watch out for?

Should be fine. You'll probably need a new rubber gasket since you'll probably tear the old one up in the process. They're not expensive. Just make sure to use high temp paint.

Is it really that easy? Just open the bolts etc and it comes off, paint it, and put it back?
What would be the right amount of power to screw the valve cover back on? XX Nm?
