Hello to you all and a Happy New Year.
I'm a new member here and enjoying it to see that so many others love their celicas as i do. My problem that i put to you all is trying to make up my mind on the wheels to get for my car. As you can see by my pic, they are seriously needed! Budget is not hugely expensive. No diamond incrusted rims for me! Please feel free to comment, even post me pics! Size i am wanting is 215/40/R17. Not wanting too small a profile as some roads my way physically hurt when holes can't be avoided!! |

DO NOT - I repeat do not - buy wheels without seeing it in person. Don't do it.
If you can't see that exact wheel, make sure you see something similar. I thought I knew what kind of wheel I wanted from shopping online. Then, on a hunch, I went to a showroom - I came back with a completely different wheel ![]() From what I can tell, a few trends are developing: Black is out. Gun-metal is massive. Bronze, multi-spoke and slags, is hot. Big spokes that overlap the rim (making a 17in look like 18in) with no lip or rim are huge. |
