i seen a car up here with the amps mounted in the back of the folded down back seat.. i liked it and i was wondering how i could do the same... but i want to be able to put the seat up if i have to

i have my amp mounted to my rear seat. just used 4 screws. the main thing you have to worry about is that there is some slack in the cable that way when you do put the seat down it doesn't put a lot of stress on it.
now are you talking about in the rear seat? like in a custom enclosure? i think i have seen someone on here that has theirs like that but can't remember who it was. i think they just made a custom box out of some wood and fiberglass and cut out a section of the seat to place it in. i wouldn't do that because if anyone sits in the back seat (if they can even fit LOL) they will not have any padding at all. it does look cool but not very functional. you might as well remove the whole back seat and then do a custom box that way. you will also have some slight weight reduction that way. LOL
