This is a no brainer.

Spend $10,000 making your Celica one kick ass example. This is the wet dream of every person on this site.

Then give the other 10k back to your parents, with your sincere thanks.

Not to mention it would then easily blow the doors off of a ****balt SS.. err cobalt that is.

My parents never bought me a car outright.. my mom has helped me with money towards a car.. but not just like outright said here's thousands of dollars have fun! lol

Anyway, the Scion TC ain't bad.. friend has one it's pretty quick and it's insanely good on gas... isn't a "sports" car .. turbo'd or anything so insurance should be pretty cheap.. specially since you are doing a cash deal it seems and won't have to worry about having super maximum insurance bc of a bank loan.

They do make a TRD supercharger for those right? I heard that at like 8PSI those damn things have 300hp.

actually insurance is still pretty pricy, at least thats what we found out when my friend was looking into a TC. 1 accident on the record of a 19 yr old would be like 300/month (liability only).

But if you can afford it, I'd take it into consideration. Or, just put the money into the Celica!

good gas milage + fast is not likely for 20k.
