What`s the deal with muffler&tip?All the pictures I see of this system the unit is polished and is stainless.I have noticed that many posts say that the muffler is black,and that you need to strip the black s#@t off . please someone tell me the truth.

they come painted black (muffler) with the tip chrome, it serves no true purpose and i believe everyone, including myself, that has this system has used some high grade paint remover and got rid of the paint. looks much better (and increases 5 hp
 )
