is there a limit on how long my car can sit without starting/driving? weather has been cruelly cold/wintry this year and i've only started it and gone "sround the block" once since Dec 1st last year. should i prep and store or can i just start it every 2 weeks or so? what damage is being done to it if it sits too long? never had a "summer" car before so i need clues.
thanks peace -------------------- ![]() |

you dont even need to put the car on blocks, just put more air pressure, tires dont get flat spots anymore and car suspension don't like being extended at the max for a long time.
And if you dont start it at all during winter, next summer try to crank the engine with the EFI fuse removed to pump the oil through the system before putting some load on the pistons. Also a full tank and some fuel stab. would be a good measure. Battery inside the house. This post has been edited by Rayme: Jan 19, 2008 - 12:53 PM -------------------- ![]() -Rémy 02 SiR, 08 250R |
