is there a limit on how long my car can sit without starting/driving? weather has been cruelly cold/wintry this year and i've only started it and gone "sround the block" once since Dec 1st last year. should i prep and store or can i just start it every 2 weeks or so? what damage is being done to it if it sits too long? never had a "summer" car before so i need clues.
thanks peace -------------------- ![]() |

I had to park mine for part of the winter becuase I shot a rod through my motor and it took me a while to do a engine swap in my free time. I would just part it on a hard surface like pavment with the e-brake off. If you have to park it on your lawn or somthing put a tarp under it so the moister from the ground does not rott out your car. Also Put a old shirt in the tail pipe to keep things from entering or worse living in it.

I have an old cutlass parked at my dad's place, he lives in the woods. I think I might get him to do that. It's been parked 6 months now...anything could have crawled up there ![]() ![]() |
