I'm going to be working on my engine performance now, and just want your opinion on the BALANCE of this set up. Simple, but still appreciate opinions from the pros.
Intake: SRI or CAI Web Cams (possibly get them done to same specs by local machine shop) (Then probably get Air/Fuel ratio tuned) Exhaust: 2.25 Catback done at shop (want to keep it legal) 2.25 Street Series Magnaflow 5X8 Oval Ignition: Anything need to be enhanced here? I'm thinking no. Thanks. And do you think a local machine shop would do custom cams to the Web Cam specs or quality? |

QUOTE(6G96GT @ Jan 20, 2008 - 4:33 PM) Port/Polish the head! Maybe go forged on those pistons and get inverted dome tops for more compression...then tune. Ususally cams need stiffer springs (upgrade) and possibly fuel management too i.e., fuel pump (upgrade), injectors (upgrade), and TUNE. Good Luck! Why would you waste your money on forged pistons? -------------------- |
