Bush wants to give a tax rebate to people to keep the economy from tanking any farther. Newest estimates are $800 per person who makes less then 85k and 1600 for married people who make less then 110k.

The word is that the checks will be *up to* $800 but that something like 40% of people will get nothing... and if it goes through, supposedly they'll actually start on it in June.
I'll bet my stupid refund check that checks hit homes right before the election, a nice little feel-good about the Republican party action and maybe a way to buy votes for Mr. Romney? --------------------  |
