Hey, ive never done a sound system before, but i have two 12" JL Audio 12W0 8ohm subs. What need know is what kind of amp i would need to run these. Would a JL Audio 250/1 work? Im just a little thrown off by the 8ohm aspect of the subs. And how many channels i would need on the amp if i just wanted to run the subs. If anyone could give me a little info, and help clarify some things for me thatd be great.

awesome, even with them being 8ohms. As you can see, i dont really know what exactly that means.
Would THIS amp work too? Also what gauge wires should i be using? sorry for all the noob q's ive never messed with audio before
