How would the CAI & exhaust help for MPG? ur going to be burning more fuel and going the same distance.

technically, if driven exactly the same way, a car with IHE would get about 2-5mpg more than the same car bone stock. increasing efficiency equals an increase in mpg and power. with more power, you dont have to push the car as hard to get it going the same(thats how i am with my car now, 35-40% throttle gets me way ahead of the pack)

but in the realy world, when people install IHE they drive the car harder. my dad for example is getting 2 mpg more in his 98 civic becuase we installed a header on it to replace the cracked stock manifold (the kind that is $1000 with a built in cat)

im getting about 24mpg on my ST-T and its running very rich. tomorrow after i remove my stock exhaust and install my new one, i will use the safc to lean it out a bit. should gain some power and hopefully a little better mpg.
