when the engine is cold it doesn't squeal but as it warms up the noise gets louder.
our mechanic said it may be that my transmission has dirt in it but he also mentioned through out bearings... any ideas on what it is? -------------------- tell me everything

Squealing is generally a belt being too loose or worn. Is the squealing effected by turning the steering wheel? My first guess is power steering belt, as it is towards the bottom of the motor.
It's hard for me to buy the transmission is squealing, there's nothing in there that would really create that noise, but it could be that a squeal to you is something different sounding. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Jan 25, 2008 - 12:32 PM -------------------- |
