soo... just got home this sunday from teh philippines, and i found out on the way home my basketball hoop got blown down and landed on my celicas windshield..... its all cracked and then the hoop scratched up my hood... DEEP. u can see the metal....stupid chicago weather... i was told there was like 50mph winds around xmas or soemthing thats when it happened. man i hate this... gettin a new windshield this friday, 135$ with installatiion...

ANYWAY you may have noticed i changed teh thread title. this is because i am deeply hurt. sounds funny but i am.

HERES THE STORY......

...so as i was on teh way home thurs night from my girlfriends house who lives about 25-30 minutes away i decided to take the alternate faster way home, the TOLLWAY. so as i was cruising about 50mph on the turnpike merging onto route 41/ edens expressway. I was driving and accelerating getting ready to merge in and as im exhausting the merging lane, i do the following... REAR VIEW MIRROR, SIDE MIRRORS, BLIND SPOT, ALL CLEAR but one car give or take 50 yards away and a group of cars far behind. i was going about 60-65 by then and as i'm merging in, keep in mind i was still ahead of the ****er who was well behind me, i merge into the lane. im guessing i must have misjudged his speed maybe 75 or so ends up right next to the rear half of my car. as i look to the left because of his lights he avoids hitting me by going into teh next lane. now here s the part i dont understand.. he avoided me by going into the next lane and apparently he lost control going into the next lane and swings the wheel to the right causing his car to do like a 25 ft drift and my car is still going straight but by the time his car grips teh road again it shoots straight for me and BAM lower left of the drivers side door is popped. i hated this becasue it happened all so very fast. so we pull over, i jump outta my car and run to his car concerned if he as injured or not, he gets out looks about 24-25 years old. has this face you would only see a little kid who is mad make and says "insurance and information" and i was like "dude, are you ok? you ok?" and hes like im FINE. soo hes on his cell phone and im like are u calling the police, and hes like no my parents, i didnt have my phone on me i lef tit in the car, but after that he called teh cops.

as we waited fro teh cops we exchanged info and i inspected both cars to see teh damage, no offense or anything but teh guy was being a really big baby. he looked like a mama's boy with a beard and glasses. i looked at his car...and GUESS WHAT.... NOTHHING... no cracks no broken headlights nothing nothing but a few paint marks from my car...oh yea btw he had a hyundai accent GT......yea... i was upset. nothing happened to his car and my baby was given a dimple in the cheek. and to make the night better a freezing below zero chicagoland weather night, it took about and hour and a half for the state trooper to come.. and before that a state trooper did come but he couldnt help us cuz he was from a different county. and i didnt know there was a difference between state troopers. but during the long wait, big baby's parents came, they were probably the nicest parents ever, they were like "its ok we'll get this all straightened out" "are you ok?" "is ure car ok". and while they talk to me, BIG BABY stomped to his mom and pops honda element and slams the car door shut and just sits there glaring at me. sooo the story soons comes to an end cop finally comes, he was suppose to ticket me for illegal merging or someting but doestn thank god. and i happlily go home while big baby sits with his parents.

okay... now this is wat i have to say, i understnad that i am mostly for the blame because i was the one merging onto the traffic, but i know for certain that guy saw my turn signal and saw my car, i dont know why he didnt eeven give way..asiudcaskjdnckjads and the fact that his attitude towards me was not cooperative and mature im 18 nad i handled the situation better than him. i understand that it coud have been so much worse than that, and he was prolly scared, but i didnt see the need of acting like a little baby.

soo all in all...in a nut shell.... i try to merge into teh next lane from another e-way, we nearly clip eachother, he avoids me, but decides to turn his wheel right which in turn sends his car darting towards my lovely driver side door. again i understand that this is my fault, and as i told the cop what happened, i didnt admit that it was my fault i just told him what happened. he got confused because i was the one who got hit. not teh other dude.

now im stuck, in teh winter, with a bad door whos window wont close to teh car so u gotta close it frmo teh outside not from inside, so my girlfriend pushes the doors shut so the windows slips under the trim off teh door frame. and i dont kno wwhat to do, we might not have nsurance pay for this cuz it might cost more to repair, but yea, this whole accident shattered my plans and dreams of this car. so ooks like gotta put a bunch of things on hold, like rims/tire and springs. i just wanna scream and shout f*** f*** f*** f*** f***. haha i cant stand it, cuz its gonna cost a ****load to fix no matter what. ill try to get some snapshots asap. but as for right now im stiill grieving.
