I few months ago I blew a rod through my 7AFE motor and today I finally finished putting a new one in. The only thing is when I drive it the engine temp drops and the cheek engine light pops on. When I stop the engine temp come back up. I did not have this problem with the old motor. Did I do somthing wrong instailing the motor, or is this a new problem. I did store my car two months before doing the engine drop. Any thoughs why it is doing this????

Yeah, I did. Does not show for the 7AFE motor though. Prob all the same though
