 95 1.8l shut off?, does any one know about this? |

hey i bought my 94 celica st and the guy put a 95 celica motor into it the only problem is the motor is shuting off at 95 mph and 105 mph with the overdrive off. and i called inthe vin# and its a celica motor for sure. the only thing i can think of is i have 2 busted motor mounts and dont know if thats the problem( confused) didnt think the motor had a shut off but dont know for sure. by the way i have an auto trans. need some help please would be greatful. thanks

well, maybe go easy on the engine... as far as shutting off... what do you mean? Completely dead? If you are driving around with two busted mounts, you are pressing your luck

I recomend taking the transmission oil pan off and look to see if any hose got knocked off inside. good idea ill try that didnt think of that thanks |
