..that is handy with measuring equipment? i would like to fabricate a hitch receiver like the oem one (attaches with 4 bolts to the rear bumper support) so i can use it for a bike rack. my old celica had the reciever installed when i bought it, but i took it off for looks and then sold it with the car.
additionally, i'd like to make a shift knob that is the same basic dimensions as the TRD knob that comes with the quickshifter, but i've never actually had one. i have a quickshifter, but not the knob. if i can get the dimensions (overall height, thread depth, counterbore depth, diameters, etc.), i'll be machining it out of delrin, and if the results are good enough i may even elect to make a handful. neither of these are life or death issues, and even high-res photos would help alot. thank youse guys! -------------------- ![]() do you know who i am, mr. worley? |

^^ I have a bike rack very similar to that one. I like it alot, but since I got rid of my Olds, I don't have a car with a hitch reciever to use it
