This is so petty but it BUGS me to no end. In my map light I have size 57 bulbs. They're icky dingy yellow and fairly useless. I've been hunting for a replacement for the bulbs I have, but can't find anything other than standard filament bulbs. In my search though I've discovered that the "correct" size is 293. WTF IS A 293 BULB!?! No one carries it. NO ONE. (not parts stores, at least)

Have any of you run into this, and how have you solved it? It seems RIDICULOUS to have to go to Totota to buy these small ass light bulbs.

It's cold and rainy out and frankly I'm feeling like too much of a chick to go out and take a picture of that damn light bulb. But the size that fits in there is 57, the "Toyota Size" that the little guide books in the stores says it is is 293 or some ****.

I really need to go somewhere where there's some sun.

Here's one I found on a web site somewhere out there in the world.
