I needed a new low beam bulb so I just decided to replace all the headlight bulbs at once. I picked up some Cool Blues for the lows and Silvania Silverstars for the highs.
I noticed a big difference, I rarely have to use my high beams anymore, and if I do use the, the silverstars do a nice lighting job. Just thought I'd let you guys know, in case you ever need new headlight bulbs that both of these companies make good bulbs. I'm Happy! ![]() |

Fortunately, Sylvania bulbs are all DOT approved and legal in all 50 states. If you show that to the officer when pulled over, you shouldn't get a ticket, and if you do, it will get dropped in court. You've gotta be careful with non-DOT-approved bluish bulbs though, as you could end up like me with a $171 ticket for impersonating a police officer, or get stopped for a couple hours and have your car searched and stuff. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
