So I moved out to Portland, Or.. It's a pretty neat place.. I have an apt southwest of the town and it's a nice area. Lots of stores out here and what not... I like it. Always sucks getting settled into a new place though... boring n what not since I really don't have any friends here... The drive was pretty interesting.. drove from eastern PA in my 93 corolla.. I got to Cheyenne WY and I80 was closed so I traveled north through WY to pick up I90 in Montana.. those mountain roads are serious business this time of year!

I drove from eastern PA.. it was a 2900 mile drive through some of the ****tiest places known to man (iowa.. wyoming, montana...)
It had a 166K on it.. now has just under 170K. I bought it for $650 with a blown engine.. so I found a good 7afe at a junk yard with a 136K... Dropped it in and left a week later. I had the car loaded up with like 400-500lbs of my crap.. tools, computer, clothes, school books etc... Did 80-90mph the whole way and had no problems at all and got 30-32mpg. The worst mileage I got was through Wyoming bc of 30mph winds gusting to 60mph and for a good time that was a head wind.. so just trying to keep it at 75mph going up the hills with the wind was a struggle... I probably only got like 25mpg through there.
