 push button start |

ok, i've got a push button start in my car. it just kinda hangs there over by the left vent. so i think to myself, "i'm gonna move it over by my cd player, that should be easy enough". so i unhook it, run the wires through, tighten the wires back down and i go to start it but nothing happens. any ideas???

If you did extend the wires did you use the same cable size? Any pics? i'm pretty sure two wires. i didn't extend anything. all i did was move the wires that were already there over a foot. here's a pic. of the button. and yes, thats how the wires were hooked up when i got it.
