ok, i've got a push button start in my car. it just kinda hangs there over by the left vent. so i think to myself, "i'm gonna move it over by my cd player, that should be easy enough". so i unhook it, run the wires through, tighten the wires back down and i go to start it but nothing happens. any ideas???

Does it have two wires or just one going to the switch? How did you extend the wires? If you did extend the wires did you use the same cable size? Any pics?

i'm pretty sure two wires. i didn't extend anything. all i did was move the wires that were already there over a foot. here's a pic. of the button. and yes, thats how the wires were hooked up when i got it.
