Like I said I dont race alot, but last night I had a rough day at work and these two kids role up to me in a new Tiburon and start starring at my car. So I stare back not in the mood for there antics, so these kids start ripping it constantly to provoke me. So Im looking real hard at the rear bumber to see if it was a V-6, I couldnt see it, so I say to myself "what the hell". On a main road in my town is a secluded turn around. So we arrive and we start rolling at like 15mph. I hear him gun it and he starts pulling, so I floored it (automatic) and I start pulling real hard on these kids and I mean real hard. I probably had these idiots by a car length. It felt soooo good considering I dont race much. Good night definatley a good night.

last saturday i came up to an orange 6th gen GT with the zephyr kit. looked good. i rolled down my window and said nice car, i got a 97 ST what's yours? he looked at me and laughed. then said, while still laughing, you should have got a GT. then laughed some more. that made me mad, so i stare at him then at the light and back. light when green and i took off normally while he launched hard(he had a 5spd) so i let him pull about 3 car lengths when i decided that was enough to prove my point. i hit it from 10% throttle to 60%, turbo kicked in and shot to 6psi. less than 2 seconds later i flew by him. i stopped at the next light and looked into his awe struck face and said "Don't judge a car by its badging" then when the light went green i took off. i hate assholes like that and now that i have a car that is faster than prolly 75-80% of the cars around here, i can show them a thing or two. btw now im at 8 psi and it feels good. with three people in the car(about 600lbs total) i easily hit 105(with my slightly bigger tires, it was prolly a few mph faster than that) i have yet to go past 70% throttle. still trying to make sure everything is working good with the setup. i have driven about 400 miles with the turbo on and it seems to be getting 24mpg but thats running rich and not driven normally, constant boost to test thing and then to hear the BOV. all the time, work and money i spent SO WORTH IT This post has been edited by 97sccelica: Oct 6, 2003 - 1:46 AM -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
