Spring is coming and I'm feeling the itch. Last year I did a few small upgrades to my '96 and I'm starting to crave some bigger upgrades.

After looking at many pictures and reading many threads, I think I have determined what I may do next, and it's some body work.

So far my list consists of:

C-one front bumper
TRD Rear Splitters
GT-4 hood or VIS Zyclone hood
Maybe 404 Sideskirts, might stick with stock ones

I was getting ideas from cars like celiracer's and Tufy's for inspiration because damn those are some hot lookin' cars! tongue.gif

I've been visiting websites for the last few days trying to gauge the price of all of this. I have heard people say bulletproofautomotive.com is a good place, and some say japanparts.com.

Bulletproof wants $748 for the C-One front and from what I see, japanparts wants $742. The japanparts website, after selecting my shipping options, looks like they charge an extra $625.48 on top of the price, unless I am misinterpreting this, while the bulletproof one says their price includes the shipping to their US office, then you have to pay shipping on top of that to get it to your door.

Is this right? over $1350 for a bumper, shipped? Seems very high. kindasad.gif

Also, I noticed there are ST202 and 205 versions of the bumper. I know that the ST205 hood is higher at the front, but if I were to do the ST205 bumper and an ST205 hood, would they fit? I'm assuming I would either need the ST205 crash bar or grind down the existing one on my car, but I don't know.

Any information anyone? smile.gif

don't forget you'll need a couple of minor things as well like the upper bumper metal retainer, bumper to hood rubber seal, some sort of turn signal to go with it (more likely gt-four ones), etc. if you grind down a st205 bar, you'll have a 2" gap between the bar and the bumper (like what i did). if you're gonna get the gt4 bar get the frame rail adapter brackets as well.

personally, i'd rather just get a replica c-one bumper from.. oh say, extremedimensions or whoever makes one with the best fitment, and just do what malpaso did with the gt4 bumper. so say $200 for the c-one bumper and another $200 for the gt4 bumper skin plus $125 in shipping and customs which comes to ~$525. you'll have an extra $890 for merging the 2 bumpers together. here, i can have my dad's friend do it for like less than $100 bucks.

or.. you can get this one halfcut i found online which includes a st205 c-one hood, st205 varis bumper, jdm fenders, jdm projectors, and a modified 3s engine for $2600 plus s&h and customs.
