There, I said it. It had to be said. Netflix today announced they are Blu-ray only - which is a nasty blow considering Warner announced early last month they were Blu-ray only also. Best Buy also stated recently they will suggest Blu-ray has their preferred HD choice. It's starting to snow ball and I think soon you'll see Paramount switch sides leaving Universal a hold out - and that won't last long. Blockbuster also rents Blu-ray exclusively also - so consumers will have tough times renting HD-DVDs.
Besides, Steven Spielberg supports blu-ray and that's already good enough for me. I will be getting my PS3 this weekend. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Feb 19, 2008 - 1:26 PM -------------------- |
