 good amps, what are some good brands? |

i want to buy a 4 way amp for my sound system but i want to know what some good brands are that are also cheap.
i hear sony is good...but then i also hear planet audio is good. i just want to get an idea of what is good and what isnt. also does it depend on my speaker setup and what kinds of speakers i have? |

sony=junk almost caught my last car on fire when it overheated and the protection didnt kick in.
Ive had great luck with jbl amps, now I have 2 rockford ones and they are incredible, and Ive never heard anything bad about JL they seem to have a quality product. |
