Not worth it. Stock 1st gen 3S-GE's like that have the same HP as your 5S with a little less torque. And that's with the GTS ECU - a little less than that on the GT trim.
However it is a fun motor  IMO the 5S is just a little better due to the torque and the reliabilty is a little higher than those older 3S engines.
