intake and exhaust (if you don't mind the sound)..
that's about it, otherwise turbo or swap it. i would start off with suspension before anything... lowering springs, strut bars, etc -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Stock. Go with suspension and wheel / tire upgrades and call it a day. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

Stock. Go with suspension and wheel / tire upgrades and call it a day. Thx for the info. Whats the best place to shop for parts? Here is what I would do if I bought a stock 6gc today. 1. New Koni Yellow struts 2. New lowering springs (TRD or Tein) 3. Some 17" wheels that you like to look at with some performance rated tires Your car will handle very nicely in the corners and will be alot of fun on those sweeping on ramps. I would stay away from engine modifications totally. Anything you do to the stock motor will give you little to no gain and just make your car louder. If you go forced induction, you are looking at quite a bit of money, loss of stock like reliability, lessened engine life, and a car that has significant traction problems once you get to the 200whp level. My recommendation is that if you want a faster car, sell your 6gc and buy one. As for places to buy this equipment, google is your friend. You might want to try nopi.com for the struts. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
