on the 3s-gte does anyone know if there is a conversion to a hydraulic roller lifter from the solid flat tappet lifter???

It's a shim and bucket. Toyota calls the bucket a valve lifter. :shrug:
Regardless, totally impossible. Wrong kind of "lifter". --------------------  |
