I purchased a 1999 Celica Convertible with 64K miles about 2 months ago. The engine runs perfectly, I average about 30 mpg, and I have put on about 4,000 trouble-free miles since owning it. However, I noticed recently that blue smoke frown.gif comes out of the tailpipe for about the first 15 seconds after starting it each day. I am assuming there is some oil entering one of the cylinders. Is there anything I can do about this? I heard there is an oil additive that may help this. Can anyone help me out?

run about 1/2 qt of atf in with your motor oil. that'll soften the rubber a little and slow it. thicker oil wont really help much.
