hey guys...i was wondering under the hood of my celi theres this cloth im guessing like a heatsheild of somesort. but its detiriorating and shooting the particels thru my vents.. is that needed or can i rip it off

It's an emergency blanket for camping. Your engine warms it, so it's ready to be used on cold nights. Don't you ever read the owner's manual?
