Hi,
Currently, my car is torn apart and I'm trying to remove the stock shifter so that I can install the TRD QuickShifter. I've almost got the old assembly out, but I can't figure out how to remove the two shift cables that are marked in the photo below.

If anyone knows how to get these out of the old shifter assembly(and install them in the new shifter), I'd really, really appreciate it if you could help me out. Thanks in advance!

Trying to get the A/C Heater Unit out seems like a real pain in the butt.
I wanted to do this in order to paint the panels but I gave up.
There appears to be 2 cables that run into the back of the unit which, as I don't have a manual, I have no idea what they are for nor how they are fixed on.

If some has the solution...I sure as hell would like to know too.
