so just got finished "seafoam-ing" the engine and it was smoking pretty good as expected and the engine was hating life for a few minutes but all said and done it seems like the slight tick i had has maybe just gotten worse? so do i continue to use? give it some time to go away? i am pretty sure i need a new valve cover gasket but i don't think that would cause the tick to be more severe...? really i am in no rush b/c i just need this 7a to make it a lil longer till i swap in a 3s this summer... suggestions welcomed though.

Did you seafoam the engine oil or just the intake?
FYI Toyota engines tick. It's part of owning a Toyota..... *Not to say you don't have a problem, but sometimes a "problem" is par for the course* -------------------- ![]() |
