Well I was just driving like I normally do (speedy off the line and generally fast_ and an eclipse GS flies by (couldnt read it very well) so I catch up and read its a gs, so I think to myself, GS I can take that. Well I speed by him and we both stop at the next red light, and when it turns green we take off, I win through first and second, about a car length ahead and then when I get to third he catches up and passe me. We stopped at about 90 and I catch up and give him a thumbs up and wave goodbye (having passed my turn).

They have more HP, but they are much heavier. Your going to accelerate faster due to weight, but he's going to carry the power through the gears unlike us. Having a HP disadvantage really blows. Race him till you have a car length on him then just hit he brakes and take the win.

The other night I was driving my friends '01 GTS (he's got CAI, Exhaust, Jet Chip and Cam Upgrade as well as a body kit and lowered etc...) and the other night he let me drive it around 1AM so we went cruising. A Del Slow pulled up next to us all wildly painted and lowered and pimp'd out and the guy asked us too race. So I said sure. The light went green and through 1st and 2nd he had his car lead on my GTS even through Lift, though Lift allowed me to crawl back to him and after 3rd gear Lift it was all over for him, after 4th gear Lift he wasnt able to read my liscense plater, after 5th gear Lift you could have had another car race between us, and I didn't even redline 6th. But the kid followed us and said he had a b16 swap, that was all. Considering b16's are only 160-170 HP, he had the advantage off the line due to his weight.
