car radio not working Options

trying to turn it on and all it does is flash and than shut off, did the fuse get burnt or something or is there something i am not doing right.

i tried to install a new head unit but it doesn't power on, so i plug in the factory and it doesn't turn on either. any info would be helpful thanks

check your fuses would be the first thing

first like she said, check fuses. Thewre are 2 for the radio, 1 in the bay and one in the interior.

if they are good, do what azain said

by any chance do you have a red key on, or display saying help. some radios have theft lock. but i doubt it.

how do you plug the aftermarket? to the harness before the amp, or the one after the amp.

If its to the before the amp, the amp may also be fried. If its after, it could be a fuse...

azian_advanced is right, if you have a multimeter, you can check the actual volts to the radio.
