 car radio not working |

trying to turn it on and all it does is flash and than shut off, did the fuse get burnt or something or is there something i am not doing right.
i tried to install a new head unit but it doesn't power on, so i plug in the factory and it doesn't turn on either. any info would be helpful thanks |

I blew a fuse to my (aftermarket) radio about a month ago, there was *some* power going to the deck, IIRC the clock was on, but the deck wouldn't power up. Turned out to be the relay fuse under the hood.
I just had a thought - don't the stock radios have that anti-theft thing where if you take the radio out something gets all whacked out with it?
