 Just got beat., Eclipse GS |

Well I was just driving like I normally do (speedy off the line and generally fast_ and an eclipse GS flies by (couldnt read it very well) so I catch up and read its a gs, so I think to myself, GS I can take that. Well I speed by him and we both stop at the next red light, and when it turns green we take off, I win through first and second, about a car length ahead and then when I get to third he catches up and passe me. We stopped at about 90 and I catch up and give him a thumbs up and wave goodbye (having passed my turn).

Yeah I agree with 97sccelica. Ive driven both my friends 95 GS and 2003 GTS, and for the 03, i was not impressed with its off the line power at all. It picks up steam though right around 30 and pulls hard. My other fried's 95 GS though, is a different story. I can walk all over his car any day of the week. Even if i were to get a crappy launch AND miss-shift into second i'd still kill him...
