I have a 2004 Rav 4 headunit that I want to install into my 4 speaker system. What will I need to make it work. Should I pick up an amp from a stock celi or should I see if the Ravs came stock with an amp and use that?

Sorry, sound systems are not my thing.

how does it look from the back? Depends if whether 15 pin or 20 pin. If 20 pin, you need same year amp or create a hybrid harness. Now IIRC the 2004 rav 4 may measure 7.4 inches across, our units are 7 inches accross, you may have to modify you bezel

like this

or

if neither, then its an amplfied system, you dont need amp, its plug and play, except for the measures..

post some pics.
