hey guys. i was roaming autozone the other day. i ran across things such as fuel injection cleaner, octane boosters, and stuff that supposed to clean your intake and carb and stuff like that. all of them would be dispensed through the gas hole.
im just wondering if these things really work? they are labeled as lasting for 3,000 miles which would mean i would only use 2 bottles a year. thats like 10 dollars a year which isnt bad if these things actually do something. anyone have experiance with them? |

QUOTE(_mikeE @ Mar 14, 2008 - 2:23 PM) Yes, that's why I didn't do seafoam on my driveway, because my driveway insersects with an alley so I dont want ppl thinking there's a fire haha. That's why I went to Mr. Lube to do the stage 4 fuel man. job, it's sorta the same thing and yes the big clouds of smoke and I paid only 100 for the job. I did notice a difference in bringing back a bit of lost power due to old age; and before I used to do 4krpm when goin 120km/h but now it's like at 3500-3600rpm. I've brought some friends to do the samething and they all had positive results and I've driven their cars before and after too so yeah. So you payed $100 for this: QUOTE(daazndood @ Mar 14, 2008 - 2:57 AM) Priced at $5.99?
