i wanna change my mirrors but i dont kno if the 7 gens will fit or should i go with the 5 gens?

5 gen and 6 gen mirrors have the exact same fittings. They are compatible with each other 100%.

The only difference is the housing style.

I'd agree b/c you still need to drill one hole to get the 5th gens to fit.
