best radar detectors for the price?

i HAD a cobra and it did me well--I made it from Windsor, Ontario to Montreal, QC within 9 hours through rain + sun. then one day (when i came back) a cop decided to do a search and got lucky and reached his arm in and found it in my glove compartment (which he didn't have a warrant to search my car) but i got lucky as he took it away but didn't give me a ticket at all.
But i'm planning on getting valentine one next, and get the custom concealed display where i can mount right on my gauge cluster. |

He didn't give you the ticket because he violated your constitutional rights. If you had the desire to, you could totally sue him AND get your detector back. (not saying you should though) --------------------  |
