I have a question about some things I plan on doing with my car (read: best friend >.>). I plan on getting better camshafts through Web Cams, but in order to do so they need all the modifications I have on my car. I'd like to get everything done at once, but seeing as it's my daily driver and only car I don't have the opportunity to leave it in a shop for a few weeks. If I were to order the cams with the specifications of what my car is GOING to be (i.e turboed, new clutch, cam gears, the works) and put them in before any more mods will the car run safely/without knocking? Or should the cams be the last thing I worry about?

as a referance you can run up to 264 deg duration and 9-10mm lift without NEEDING an aftermarket ecu, it wont knock on the stock ecu.
any more duration/lift then that and it wont run properly. OF course a fully tuneable ecu will give you the full benifits of the cams. what mods you done? for the cost of gettin some cams it could be better spent at this stage on an ecu etc. If you come across some cheap snap them up. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r
