Old news but I believe I need a new strut mount. My caster is off on the front/driver (left) side. I replaced the control arm, axle & wheel bearing already. I may need to replace my strut or strut mount next to see if I can resolve this caster issue. About two years ago I hit something, bent my rim pretty bad, and caused my damper adjuster to make a dent in my hood, only going 35-40mph (raining at night). Maybe the strut mount went bad, maybe the strut is now bent, maybe the tower itself is bent; I hope it's not the latter.
Anybody have experience with this? Ideas? ____________________________________ If I do get a new strut mount I was searching online and recall seeing some at TRD Heavy Duty Top Mounts http://www.fensport.co.uk > parts > st202/at200 > chassis tuning > top mounts ~$72 USD each If my strut is bent I'll order a new one from tein. And If my tower is bent, I have no idea what to do. |

no. not for mine, i used the stock mounts. the pillowball mounts were not available for my application.
![]() o man. I got quoted for ~300 shipped for two strut mounts and rear bushing kit. worth it? -> only if it fixes my caster issue. (rear bushing kit is just to combine other fensport purchase into 1 shipping quote.) |
