 Are JDM parts equivalent? |

I've been shopping used parts to help out the guy fixing my '97 GT after a fender bender (driver's front corner).
I'm considering a JDM headlamp and highbeam via eBay from a seller in Japan. Are these the same parts as used in the US? I'm not adding or customizing, just trying to pay far less than dealer prices. I know some countries have/had different lighting laws. And there aren't any of these in wrecking yards (oh yeah, now they are auto dismanters/recyclers!). Recommnedations? TIA |

are you in san jose ca ? if so or even if not there is a large toyota parts dismantling place called TAP recycling

Found them and they're outside Sacramento, but I called them and they don't have what I need. I had no idea parts where so hard to get for this car. Sooo, still wondering about the JDM headlights (low & high). |
