 Where is this grease from? |

Was looking under the car today, and noticed my front pass wheel was splattered with what appeared to be mud. Upon further inspection it turned out to be grease of some sort (petroleum based smell).

I had a quick feel around the boot, but didn't wipe anything off yet to show where it was coming from. The boot seemed to be intact and not split anywhere, but I will wipe the grase off and double check. Where should the clamp be?
How would this have happened? I washed the car just before I put it away (and I spray out the inside of the wheels) so it must have happened on the way home from the car wash... |
