Does anyone else have an engine bay mounted reservoir and where it is mounted. Did you need to take any other systems out (EGR, charcoal canister etc).

I'm looking into getting a W/I system for my car, but can't seem to find a way to route lines from the trunk to the engine bay. That leaves me with mounting the reservoir inside the engine bay. I was looking around under the car and it seems there may be space behind the drivers side wheel fender. There is a black hard plastic/metal squarish box located there. What is this box for and can I take it out?

These ideas are great for the people planning on going with the water injection kit with their swap or their turbo set-up. I know I will be mounting it in the trunk. Its a cooler spot to put it and yes, checking it will be soo much easier.

So the water lines running under the door sills won't get pinched at all?
