Does anyone else have an engine bay mounted reservoir and where it is mounted. Did you need to take any other systems out (EGR, charcoal canister etc).
I'm looking into getting a W/I system for my car, but can't seem to find a way to route lines from the trunk to the engine bay. That leaves me with mounting the reservoir inside the engine bay. I was looking around under the car and it seems there may be space behind the drivers side wheel fender. There is a black hard plastic/metal squarish box located there. What is this box for and can I take it out? |

Why should you have to check it..... LAME.... I have a setup im making right now to make a sensor to trip a red led to light at a certain level of the tank. It would suck to be running hard and not realize that you are out. If anyone is interested in how im doing this let me know.... Im not gonna do a write up or anything if no one wants to know how to make it.... I feel as though I should say though mine is not for water injection... its for an intercooler sprayer. Same principle though.... A fluid tank with a pump.... I have a push button for the IC spray that kicks a green led to show that you are spraying, but next to it is a red led that lights up when the tank reaches a set level. Let me know if you want pics and a write up... if not..... yeah make sure you mount it where you can check it often....
