 Where is this grease from? |

Was looking under the car today, and noticed my front pass wheel was splattered with what appeared to be mud. Upon further inspection it turned out to be grease of some sort (petroleum based smell).

You can't just buy a new axle for this application. You need a hybrid axle of MR2 Turbo inners and ST185 outers. You'll have to disassemble both axles and re-combine them to make one new axle including the spacer from your old axle. IMHO that's a lot more work since you could just pull the axle shaft out of the hub and replace the boot without the need to remove the whole axle from the car. Much easier/cheaper.
