Here is my new setup that I put in last night:
 JL Audio e1400d amplifier, along with 2 12" Alpine Type E's in a ported box. Sounds freaking amazing to say the least. I'm probably going to change the box to two single 12" boxes, because this damn box now must weight 100 lbs at least. Tell me what you guys think. -Matt |

Now actually lifting the box, it's easily passed 100lbs. Like maybe 115 or so. It sinks the car down, to give you an idea.
With and without the cap, I haven't tried it without, but I honestly don't want to. I have a feeling that my lights would flicker. I think I'm going to get a standard sealed 12" box, due to the weight.
