Was looking under the car today, and noticed my front pass wheel was splattered with what appeared to be mud. Upon further inspection it turned out to be grease of some sort (petroleum based smell).

unless the axle is making noise all you need to do is....
1. get a CV boot clamp 2. some axle grease 3. some gloves 4. some kind of pick now, push the boot back from the part its on where the clamp is missing, look for any debris, drops of water, metal flakes. if there are none then pack it back up with some axle grease. dont pack it completely full, just abotu 1/3 to 1/2 or what looks like as much that came out. push the boot back, install the new clamp, clean it up nice and dry, and you should be good to go. -------------------- |
