So since my boy friend owns a 6th gen and the first time I laid eyes on the car, I wanted one. I finally got the celica, but it had more issues than I thought. I boguht the car with both air bags deployed. Since my boy friend did the 7th gen steering wheel swap he had a spare steering wheel left over and we used the air bag assembly from that, but the passenger side air bag panel is still open and the air bag light is on. What can we do to get rid of that light? I really don't have money right now, since I used it all on buying my very own 6th gen. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of this? Any way to disengage the air bag light? Or do I have to go out and buy a passenger side air bag? Please help.

black tape works too....
Officially speaking; you should replace the airbag, the sensor and then reset the car. That should take care of it. (well, thats how it worked on my old ford.) Good luck with that. I know some other ways of "turning that light off" but my electronics and wiring ideas are shunned by most people here because i'd rather do things myself than pay "professionals" when it comes to these delicate electronics' issues. Sorry, i'm tired of getting flamed to the ground b/c some people dont understand some concepts of how circuits work. PM me if you want a free (or nearly) and easy way to handle the situation. ![]() -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW!
