Ive got the tranny out of the car right now, because im replacing the clutch (centerforce stage 1, comes on wednesday)
The passenger side axle popped right out of the differential no problem. But the driver side axle is STILL on there! I had to pull the transmission with it still attached. Brute force wont bring it free, is there some clip on there? some magic spell maybe? yaaarg! -------------------- OBD-II makes me a sad panda

ok, there is a clip that holds it in place. you have already taken out the tranny. There are some tools people use.
I used a prybar and a mallet. while the tranny was in place, i pushed up with the prybar and one single wham with the mallet. sorry i dont have pics, i used to but i am using photobucket now and im transferring all my pics. i took a good strike. So i feel you. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL
